After an unsuccessful search for Marius's benefactor, Marius proposes to Cosette at the Luxembourg Gardens, to which she accepts
Cosette and Marius is the 48th episode of the series. It focuses on Marius and Cosette searching for the benefactor who saved Marius at the barricade. After coming across a dead end, Marius vows not to give up on his search, and also plans to move out of his grandfather's and live independantly as a lawyer, using his skills to help the poor people as his way of continuing his role in society. Afterwards, Marius proposes to Cosette, to which she accepts.
